Uncover your Mission

Hindus

There are approximately 1.2 billion Hindus throughout the world. Jesus wants us to restore streets to dwell in, helping them escape the fear of karma through Jesus' salvation path.

Picture growing up surrounded by temples, rituals, and sacred stories, yet never knowing the assurance of forgiveness or the peace of salvation.

Many devoted Hindus focus their worship on one or a few gods from among thousands. These gods are often understood as expressions of the ultimate reality, Brahman, which is believed to exist in all living things. Through ceremonies, moral deeds, and spiritual discipline, Hindus seek a better rebirth and, ultimately, liberation from the cycle of life and death.

For many, spirituality is constant.
Certainty is not.

A Vast and Unreached World

There are 2,204 unreached people groups that are primarily Hindu, including groups such as the Yadav, Brahman, and Rajput of India.

There are approximately 1.2 billion Hindus in the world. Hinduism is the primary religion in the three countries of India, Nepal, and Mauritius with millions also in Bangladesh, Indonesia, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. There are also 2.5 million in the United States.

Millions live and die having never met a follower of Jesus who could clearly and lovingly explain the gospel.

How might God use your presence, prayers, or profession to reach someone from a Hindu background?
