We often imagine slaves as strong men in chains.
But 71 percent of people trapped in modern slavery are female.
They are not strangers. They are our mothers, sisters, and daughters.
In today’s world, 1 out of every 130 females is trapped in forced marriage or enslaved labor.

Many times, that prison is a prostitute’s cell. (freetheslaves.net). 2 million children are trapped in prostitution (unicef.org). The average age of a trafficked child is between ages 12-14 (liberatechildren.org). Can we possibly imagine such horror?
This Is Modern Slavery
Prostitution is often not a choice.
It is coercion, debt bondage, threats, violence, and lies.
Girls are promised jobs.
Women are trapped by poverty.
Children are sold by desperation.
And once trapped, escape feels impossible.

They rescued women and girls from prostitution, slave labor, and female genital mutilation.
They provided education, job training, counseling, and safety.
They showed survivors that their worth was never lost.
They introduced them to the God who sees, heals, and restores.
