The suffering in this world will completely stop when Jesus returns. Is there anything we can do to speed that up? Jesus was very clear, "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come" (Matthew 24:14). That means we are not waiting on Jesus to return; He is waiting on us.
With love for a suffering world, each of us has the duty and privilege to take up this great commission to make disciples of all the nations (Matthew 28:18-20). With 3.58 billion unreached Buddhists, Hindus, Jews, Muslims, and others in 4,487 distinctly different people groups this is a huge challenge. We turn to the Bible and Ellen White's writings for answers to this most pressing question, How will the Great Commission be finished?
